ATCC complete growth medium: The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated Dulbecco's Modified Eagle's Medium, Catalog No. 30-2002. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: 2-mercaptoethanol to a final concentration of 0.05 mM; fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 10%.

Atmosphere: air, 95%; carbon dioxide (CO2), 5%

Protocol: Cultures can be maintained by addition or replacement of fresh medium. Start cultures at 1 X 10 exp5 cells/ml and maintain between 1 X 10 exp5 and 5 X 10 exp5 cells/ml.
Medium Renewal: Add fresh medium every 2 to 4 days (depending on cell density)
